My son wouldn’t eat

My 22-month son wouldn’t eat, I prayed, nothing happened. I promised St. Josemaria that if my baby started eating I would publish the favor. Thank God, my son is now eating normally. Thank you St. Josemaria for this and many other favors received.

My husband and I have struggled very much in our vocations and in our finances. He was unemployed for years but after just a few weeks of trying to live St Josemaria's messages and praying the novena to St Josemaria for Families and the novena for Work for a specific job my husband was offered the exact job we prayed for and our marriage is now very strong. During the Grand Prix in Macau

We were planning two activities within one day in Macau, with an invited speaker coming from Hong Kong. We had planned this earlier but she could not come and the only day we could agree on was the 3rd Sunday of November 2011. A week before that we realized that it could mean long delays in the arrival of the speaker to the activity venue, that there might be much traffic, and that after the activity, she might miss her boat going back to Hong Kong, (seems it was going to be a crazy day), as there would be so many people, being the final day of the Grand Prix races in Macau.

My husband moved out of our house due to anxiety problems and depression. […] I prayed a 9-day novena to our dear St. Josemaria for help. On the 9th day my husband called me and told me he would like to move back in with me [...]. God indeed is good and merciful if you pray with a sincere heart. St. Josemaria listens every time I ask for a favor. Additionally when my husband came back he volunteered to seek professional help for his depression. Praise to the Lord! Indeed God is good!

Heart transplant after giving birth

I have a friend (...) of 32 and she had a heart transplant. It is a long story because she had to have five operations in two weeks. What’s more she had given birth a fortnight before, just before her heart stopped working. We prayed to St. Josemaria with a lot of faith for her strength to be supported and for her to be able to face the harsh facts that arose with faith in God. Thanks to God and St. Josemaria a donor was found (...) The transplant was a success and two days ago she was once again able to hold her baby daughter. Thank you St. Josemaria, and thank all of you who prayed for her.

Squeezing the cars together

I am writing about a favour obtained on November 7, 2011. Three of us along with some of our children had gone to the mainland to attend a recollection in the morning. We were hoping to take the 1pm ferry to return home. By the time we got to the ferry we were told that we would possibly have to wait until the next sailing at 3pm. This was going to cause all of us a lot of difficulty as there were other children to be picked up from school back at home, errands to run and supper to prepare. We said the prayer card to St. Josemaria while waiting in the very long line-up asking that he help us to get on the 1pm ferry. It looked as though we would be left behind when suddenly the worker got a call telling him to put one more car on the ferry. It was our chance! We imagined that St. Josemaria must have asked Our Lord to squeeze the cars together as much as possible. We drove onto the ferry and thanked God and St. Josemaria for allowing us to get home on time.

I would like to share with you a favor received through St Josemaria. (...) I was just getting in the car (which I’d left outside the house) with my cousin, when three men appeared with two guns, one pointing at me and the other at my cousin. I threw myself to ground but she didn’t have time to, and two of the robbers pushed her into the car. My cousin is not a strong woman and couldn’t fight back. For those few instants my thoughts went quickly to St Josemaria and just then my cousin jumped out of the car and the three men ran away. All they took was one purse. For my cousin and me it was a very great favor.

The miracle changed our lives

A few months ago my son was saved from certain death. He had an aortic aneurism when he was far from any hospital. The medics in the ambulance gave him up for dead, but thanks to Saint Josemaria’s intercession he was still alive when they reached the hospital and had a successful operation. Now he is fine. This miracle changed our lives. Thank you very much, Saint Josemaria!

They hired him as a guard

During the past year, the machines in our laundry had been needing repair quite frequently. The repair man, who is mature and rather loud-voiced, would come punctually to our house to fix the machines. Each time he comes, he would ask for some prayer cards of St Josemaria in Chinese. It seems that someone from our house had introduced him to the devotion to St Josemaria, and even if he is a non-Christian, he got attracted to St Josemaria.

Good and kind doctors

Last August my nephew met an accident while working in a house construction site. A tiny but sharp piece of steel he was working on pierced his left eye. The eye specialist in a provincial clinic recommended immediate eye surgery in a national government hospital which is more than a hundred kilometers away. On the way we prayed to St. Josemaria to help us find a good and kindhearted doctor to treat my nephew.
